National Public Science Day

Science is really important and directly related to our lives. National Public Science Day is celebrated on February 17 every year to highlight the important role science plays in society and to engage the public more broadly on emerging scientific issues, encouraging the public learns, debates and develops issues.

Science is understood as a system of knowledge about social nature and thinking about the objective laws of development of nature, society and thought. It correctly explains the origin of those events, discovers the relationships of phenomena, equips people with knowledge of the objective laws of the real world for people to apply into production practice and life. Science is also understood as a social activity to explore and discover laws and phenomena and apply those laws to create principles and solutions that affect things and phenomena, in order to change their state.

It is still said that science is the driving force for social development, making people more civilized, more compassionate, living better and more confident in themselves in life. Specifically, those are:

Man understands nature, grasps the laws of transformation and transformation of matter, and conquers nature according to its laws.

People understand the laws of movement of the society they live in and apply them to promote that society to develop more quickly.

Humans are becoming more and more conscious, more and more cautious in scientific understanding: not hasty, not misunderstood, not subjective, and firmly moving towards the truth of nature.

True science opposes false views (superstition, racism...).

Science eases human labor, improves quality of life.
