Every day, we find ourselves with the opportunity to relay some good that has been done in our lives. Whether it is paying for people in the car behind us during a drive, dropping a dollar in a homeless person's collection jar, or just complimenting someone on their wardrobe.  It just takes a moment consider kindness to brighten someone's day. Pay It Forward Day is a reminder for everyone.

History of Pay it Forward Day

The term "pay it forward" is familiar to everyone, which firstly appeared in 1916, in the Garden of Delight, although the concept goes much further back. Since 2007, there has been an annual celebration for only it. Pay it Forward Day is considered as the best global initiative that makes a difference around the world. Every year, people from over 80 countries participate in more than 10 million acts of kindness. Everyday has lots of acts of kindness done by millions of people in the world. Moreover, there is much potential to change the world to be better, which is the ultimate goal of Pay it Forward Day.

Australia's Blake Beattie is the founder of Pay it Forward Day. Besides, Catherine Ryan Hyde's book Pay It Forward, which was published in 1999 inspired and made into a feature film the following year. Pay it forward Day was first celebrated in 2007 with a lot of participants in the world. By its fifth year, people in 35 countries had celebrated and there had been seven state proclamations and fifteen city proclamations. In 2017, there were more than 80 countries celebrated this holiday, and more than 100 city and state proclamations were made in honor of Pay it Forward Day.

Participants were asked to do one to three good deeds during the day without asking for anything in return instead, the recipients were asked to "pay in advance". People participate by paying for someone else's coffee, meals, groceries, or gas; help someone in need; or donate. "Pay it forward" activities are organized

How to celebrate Pay it Forward Day

Use Pay It Forward Day to bring the habit of good things into the world in the form of serving others. Whether you are making a donation to a good reason or helping someone with a broken grocery bag, do not forget to request them to pay it off as a way to compensate. Let consider Pay It Forward Day as a good day to start a new beginning!

There are many different ways to spread love and kindness. If you have plenty of money, how about buying and giving a small gift for someone? It can be a lovely gesture. It's always a wonderful thing to receive something. When there is no reason, it is only someone would like to let you know that you are highly appreciated.

A popular way is that people share photos as well as their celebration on Facebook, informing others that they will buy a surprise gift or do something nice for them in the next 12 months, as long as they do the same. This generates a sequence of type events. It gives everyone something to look forward to throughout the year. In addition, chances are many people will forget the gift by the time they receive it, and so it turns out to be a lovely surprise.

You can find ways to be nice to people without spending money. The act of kindness you choose depends on the people you know and the kind of help they need. For example, you might offer to take your elderly neighbor shopping once a week, or let them shop for them. If you have any friends with kids, you can offer to babysit the kids.

Another way to show kindness is to pay people extra and send messages to your family and friends to let them know how much you appreciate them. You may also decide to volunteer your time to help an organization or charity that you are passionate about. The options are endless. It is not about your gesture or the amount of money you spend. Every act of kindness is appreciated highly and shows the gratitude.
