Spunky Old Broads Day is annually observed on February 1st to remind us that getting older doesn't have to mean becoming boring. Use this holiday as a call to action to do something new, exciting, and bring a little drabness into your life. Use it today to appreciate those luscious old broads you know for their vitality.
History of Spunky Old Broads Day
Dr. Gayle Carson (founder of holiday), a life coach and mentor to CEOs and business managers worldwide, who is primarily focused on helping older women , especially considering that the use of harsh, old, and broad words all have negative connotations and decided to put them together to create something positive, the coming day Spunky Old Broads (SOBs).
The celebration of the vast old theaters was created as a month-long holiday by Dr. Gayle Carson, and the first day of the celebration also became the Old Traditional Spunky Festival Day. Carson, a coach and advisor to CEOs and business managers around the world, who is especially focused on helping older women, thinks that harsh, old, and broad words are all had negative connotations and decided to put them together to create something positive, coming up with Spunky Old Broads (SOB). The day and month celebrates women aged 50 and over who don't want to age quietly, and "who care about living a life without regrets." She chose February, because it was her birth month.
How to celebrate Spunky Old Broads Day
As an elderly woman, there's a lot you can do to learn how to improve your life in the future. You can start by listening to one of Dr. Gayle Carson's radio shows or explore her free articles and videos.
If you are a woman over 50, you can spend your day living life to the fullest. Get out of the house and refuse to be silent during the day, making yourself known or remembered. Give yourself a boost to feel sassy and be able to do something you've never done before. If you're not a woman or a woman under 50, you can celebrate by thinking of all the "old ladies" you know and celebrating them.
This holiday can bring people together by expressing gratitude to the older women in our lives. Without them, many people would be surprised by how different our lives would be, and this holiday cements our love for them as friends and family.
