Are you an introvert who is often misunderstood by people and struggles to get people to understand you? Around the world, there is a day dedicated to introversion: The World Introvert Day. Being an introvert dose not mean you can’t participate in social activities, World Introvert Day was created to prove to everyone that fact.
Psychologist Cart Jung popularized the terms introvert and extrovert in personality psychology. Extroversion tends to manifest in energetic walking and talking behavior, while introversion shows more reserved, alone behavior. Extroverts tend to be social; they are assertive, and often interested in exciting things like color, sound and movement. Extroverts are easy to approach and socialize; they often show interest in their surroundings and are always optimistic and enthusiastic. In contrast, introverts are often more reserved and reserved, they give less priority to social activities.
Because of the distinct personality traits of extroverts and introverts, most introverts are misunderstood as weird and arrogant. However, they are not like that, they operate in a different way. World Introvert Day was created to raise awareness of the introverted world of introverts and to show that their actions and habits do not make them any less normal.
With a personal blog was posted by psychologist and author Felicitas Heyne published proposing to dedicate one day of the year to quiet people, The first World Introvert Day was celebrated in 2011. Since then, World Introvert Day has been held across the globe every January 2nd .

They created the world in their heads and helped create the world we live in. There are many famous introverts as artists, actors, musicians, writers.
