If the first month begins on the FIRST NEW MOON after the Spring equinox isn't the Passover date wrong?

        thank you for information.
my question is, Israels first Passover recorded in Exodus 12 when Israel were slaves in Egypt they were commanded to take a lamb and spread the shed blood of the Passover lamb on the doorposts of their home and by doing so the death angel passed over their homes and they're firstborn were spared from death.
how was it possible to acquire the many thousands of lambs required for Passover?
