International Virtual Assistants Day

Virtual assistants are individuals who primarily work as freelancers to provide management-related, administrative, and personal assistance services to clients. They often make extensive use of the latest technology and mainly the internet to carry out their tasks. Duties typically range from taking calls to doing research online.

International Virtual Assistant Day is a day dedicated to recognizing the hard work, determination and commitment of virtual assistants. The day is often sponsored by the Alliance of Virtual Businesses and celebrations are held during the Virtual Support Conference Online.

The Alliance for Virtual Businesses, which includes a group of virtual professionals as the initiators of the day, is usually held annually on the third Friday of May each year. Its main purpose is often to create awareness of the services of virtual assistants in the business community.
